I remember...

I remember my dad playing "Hey Sally Walker Walkin' Down the Street" with Children at a Daytime Shelter in Ethiopia~

I remember this sweet baby (not sure if it's a boy or girl) walking down the street in Korah~

I remember the children and adults climbing through the trash is search of food or sellable items~

I remember this women carrying this load of fire burning sticks off Entoto Mountain~

I remember carrying Easton in the Bjorn as I met these children at Project 61 in Korah

I remember this sweet boys face at Kids Care Orphanage! I PRAY that he has been blessed with a family! He was ADORABLE!!!

I remember Ryan and I with the orphans of Kids Care~

I remember taking this picture of my amazing husband surrounded by orphans~

I remember giving these orphan boys dumdums at Kingdom Vision Orphanage- (this was the orphanage that took care of Easton for his first few weeks of life)

I remember my Mom hugging these precious orphaned children~

I remember all the cribs and all the orphans~

There are many days that I cannot get Africa, Ethiopia, Orphanages, Children, Orphans out of my mind. Some of the memories are beautiful, some are painful. Almost a year ago I experienced Africa for the first time. I have forgot very little of what I saw and experienced. Most of my memories are accompanied by a picture, I am so thankful for the thousands of images that I can stroll through in I-photo. There is so much to process and even over 330 days later I'm not sure what to do with all my memories.
I have prayed about my future involvement with orphans. Our adoption of Easton was only the beginning. I know God has BIG plans for the Fulmer family. Obviously, my days are full of changing diapers and feeding my two precious babies but I long for more. I want to serve. I want to save. I want to advocate for the orphans I witnessed in Ethiopia. Recently, I have connected with Bridge-a-Life Ministry through Bayside Community Church. They are supporting Foster and Adoption families in our area. I am thankful that God has opened this door of service to me and I'm excited to see how God uses our family to protect the fatherless.

James 1:27
Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.

Not sure what the purpose of this blog post is. Simply to share my heart with you.
